Launched in late 2020, the Galaxy A42 5G (SM-A426B) was Samsung’s most affordable 5G Galaxy: 6.6-inch Super AMOLED, Snapdragon 750G, 48 MP main camera, 20 MP selfie camera and a 5000 mAh battery. Good news for repairs: almost every key part is available as an Original Samsung part.
The Original screen

Original GH82-25123A Official Samsung part, 5000 mAh Compatible EB-BA426ABY Same capacity, lower price It’s the same battery as the Galaxy A72. After four or five years, the A42’s battery probably won’t last the day: replacing it is the change you’ll notice most.

Rear camera 48 MP, front camera 20 MP. Earpiece speaker (shared with the S10 Lite) and loudspeaker (shared with the A32 5G). For signal problems, the Original coaxial antenna cable in white GH39-02098A.
Tray and repairers
SIM / SD tray in black, and Original white GH64-08247B. For board work, 10-pin fingerprint FPC connector and 78-pin display FPC connectors.
